From the point your child starts walking to when they take their first step into school, there is something for them at Cartsbridge.
Mondays during term time from 1.30pm to 2.45pm
Stepping Stones is a pre-school group for approximately 12 children. Whilst the adults and younger siblings go into the lounge and chat over a cup of tea, the 3-4 year olds start the session with free play for about half an hour. After tidying up the toys the leaders, Una and Alison help the children make a craft which they can take home. Time then for juice and a biscuit while listening to a Bible story. If we've time the children love to have a game of "What's the time Mr Wolf?" or "Sleeping Lions".
Wednesday at 10.00am and 1.30pm
There are two Cartsbridge toddler groups for children of pre-school age, from babies up until a child starts school. Mummies, Daddies, Grannies, Grandpas, carers and childminders all welcome! It is very informal with free-play with the toys, juice and biscuit time and a craft or singing. Tea, coffee and cake for the grown-ups too!
There is currently a waiting list for places at both the morning and afternoon group so if you are interested in coming along please send an email via the Contact page.
