YOUTH ACTIVITIES
The Youth Club
At 7.30pm every Friday in the church the Youth Club attracts church attenders
and local youngsters of 13 years and over who enjoy a lively occasion with indoor
games and entertainment and during the evening a leader or visitor shares their
faith with those present. Annual visits to Teen Ranch and other special events
ensure that this is one of the most popular activities in the church.
Junior Youth Fellowship
For young people aged 11 – 14, the JYF meets every Sunday night in the church at 6.30pm during the Evening Service. This is an informal time that includes a mix of games, video clips and small group discussion with the aim of exploring the Christian faith and its impact on young people. A monthly social event and an annual weekend away are also built into the programme.
The Youth Fellowship
The YF meets at 8pm each Sunday evening in the church and is open to young people from S.4 upwards. The central aim is to disciple young Christians. This is achieved through a relevant program of teaching, worship and a small group ministry. It is further strengthened through encouraging the young people to use their gifts in the context of the wider church. Two weekends away are also planned each year.
King's Club
6.30pm every Wednesday in the church. An activity for children of primary school
age where the Bible comes alive in song and drama and many other ways. Jesus
the King is the central theme of this mid-week activity which runs from October
to March.
